Vietnam’s export ceramic products reach more than 30 foreign markets. In the first 7 months of 2020, export turnover reached more than 309 million USD.
According to the General Department of Customs, ceramic exports in the first 7 months of 2020 increased by 3.4% compared to the same period in 2019. Among more than 30 export markets for ceramic products, the US, Japan and Taiwan are still the leading countries. The market has the largest turnover, accounting for nearly 45% of the country’s total export turnover.
Ceramics exports to the US market always lead in turnover, accounting for 20% of Vietnam’s total export turnover of goods, reaching 61.33 million USD, an increase of 14.7% over the same period in 2019. Japan is The second largest market in ceramic export turnover, accounting for 15% of the country’s total ceramic export turnover.
In general, ceramic exports in the first 7 months of the year had mixed fluctuations. In some markets, including Argentina, Canada, and Hong Kong, the decrease was over 50% compared to the same period last year. Some countries increased sharply in turnover such as: Sweden, China, Denmark.
